As per Latest News, The Union Health Ministry has identified 170 districts as COVID-19 hotspots and 207 districts as potential hotspots. In Assam, A total no of five districts has been recognized as COVID-19 hotspots. Actually, Hotspots are those districts that are reporting more number of COVID-19 cases or where the rate of growth of COVID-19 cases is high.
List of hotspot district in Assam
The 5 hotspot districts in Assam are -
- Golaghat.
- Morigaon.
- Nalbari.
- Goalpara. And
- Dhubri.
Movement of people will not be allowed in such districts except for those related with essential services.
